Miguel Tellez was born and raised in Mexico, where he fell in love with the art of cooking as a young man, helping his parents out in the kitchen at the family restaurant. He continued in the culinary path and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Business Administration at the Universidad Del Valle De Mexico and a certificate in Hotel Management by GLION Switzerland. His passion for food led him to Portugal, where he worked at the Ritz Carlton Penha Longa as part of the Pastry team. He continued his career working at the Royal Hideaway in Playa del Carmen, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, La Playa Beach and Golf Resort, and finally joining the Country Club of Naples culinary team as the executive sous chef in 2019 and promoted to Executive Chef in 2020.

Miguel is an avid traveler using inspiration from different cultures, regions, flavors, and aromas. He is currently being certified as a Wine Educator by the Napa Valley Wine Academy.
