"On arriving in Park Shore last December as a new condominium owner, I commenced a programmed search for a golf club. I initially listed all courses in a grid from Immokalee to Golden Gate, and Livingston to the gulf. Based on information available on their web sites, I short listed my search to six courses. I had lengthy discussions with the management at all six and played four. I rated the courses on course quality, practice facilities, compatibility of membership, dining and social. In the end, the decision was easy. Everything that I was looking for in a golf club was seven minutes from my Gulf Shore Blvd condominium at The Country Club of Naples. After only five weeks, 11 rounds, 2 wine tastings, the Canadian Beaver Tournament and the St. Patrick’s Day dinner, I can say unequivocally, “What a great decision.”
