Bill Davidson has been with CCN since March, 2007. He has brought to CCN a diverse background in all areas of golf course management, ranging from the direction of daily operations and staff, to the implementation of special projects including the golf course renovation in 2009 and the clubhouse landscaping for the 2016 renovation. He has his A.S. Degree in Golf Course Operations from Lake City Community college, a well-recognized school for this field and holds the status of a "certified golf course superintendent" from the Golf Course Superintendent's Association of America. His professional experience includes having served as golf course superintendent for both Collier's Reserve and Naples Grande, where, among many duties, he has worked with the implementation and administration of the Audubon International Signature Sanctuary program. Included among his achievements are "Recipient--Environmental Leaders in Golf Award for Private Country Clubs 2002," sponsored by the Golf Course Superintendent's Association of America, "Recipient -- Overall Winner for Environmental Leaders in Golf 2002," sponsored by Golf Digest, as well as holds an instructor's certificate to teach Green Industries Best Management Practices with the Department of Environmental Protection. For the last sixteen years, along with being a Superintendent, Bill has served on various industry association Board of Directors. In 2007 he was the President of the local Everglades Chapter of the Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association and was part of a representative team from the Green Industry that worked with County legislators to develop the local fertilizer ordinances. In 2012 Bill served as President of the Florida Golf Course Superintendent's Association and was part of the team that developed the nationally recognized Golf Course Industry Best Management Practices Certification Program.

Bill is excellent at keeping the membership informed about the golf course. He provided a blog during the course renovation which was so popular, especially with the seasonal members who couldn't see the renovation progress firsthand, that he now provides an ongoing social medial outlet for anyone to be able to keep up with what is happening around and on the golf course.
